  My mother who is 96 was treated so rudely by the doctor that i still cannot believe it happened. She was his patient for many years and moved out of the area six years ago. Now back, we felt she should once again see him. She suffers from Maculate Degeneration and is in the middle stages of the disease. We know that it is not curable but felt we still needed a doctor on board with her. Simple, right? The office set up and appointment and we came thinking the doctor would talk to us and let us know how we should take care of her. Nothing could have been further from the truth.....He was so rude with her, telling NO NO NO NO, he could not help her and NO NO NO NO... We could not believe our ears. We just sat there in shock because his actions were so unprofessional and so out-there. He really did say that to her, and kept opening and closing her file and getting up and leaving and turning around and coming right back in the room in an agitated state. Finally his actions were a little too aggressive for my husband to take so we got up and left. In bewilderment I might say.... If he did not want my mother as a patient, that is his right. But, he does NOT have the right to treat her in the manner that he did. I feel that he had a meltdown today.. He was extremely unprofessional in his manner and I feel I have the right to tell more people about what happened. His staff acted like they were in shock and were not helpful to us when we were leaving. I do not know what is up with the good doctor, but, I feel like it is his turn to be "seen" Good Luck if you are looking for a new eye doctor. I would steer clear of this one for now at least. Too bad, he used to be one of the best
